저자(글) Colin Bryar
저자 콜린 브라이어(Colin Bryar)는 아마존이 창립한 지 4년째 되는 1998년에 합류했다. 아마존이 미국 도서 유통업체를 넘어 세계적이고 다차원적인 혁신 기업으로 성장할 동안 아마존에서 기술 부사장과 CEO의 기술 고문 역할을 담당하며 12년을 보냈다. 특히 ‘제프의 그림자’라고 불리는 최고 참모직을 맡은 2년 동안은 매일 제프와 함께 회의하고 여행하며 비즈니스와 삶을 논했다. 2010년에 아마존을 독립하면서 가족과 함께 싱가포르로 건너가 훗날 알리바바Alibaba에 매각된 전자상거래업체인 레드마트RedMart의 COO로 일했다. 현재는 빌 카와 함께 워킹 백워드 LLCWorking Backwards LLC의 공동 창업자로서 아마존에서 개발한 혁신 경영 메커니즘을 수많은 대기업과 스타트업에 코치하고 있다.
